Ugandan Music {Pam Awards}

After abit of time I have found sometime to write this. Today the topic is not about football, I want to tell you something about Ugandan Music, In Uganda we have just finalised the Pam of africa Music Awards and there were losers and winners, I happened to be part of the losers of these awards and most of us thought there were better winners than the ones who worn then October Awards.

This bring me to the idea in the United States of having different Awards of categories of Music because apart from us having this as a solution to the problem we are about to have in Ugandan Music where people feel its their stars who are not getting recogonised -this will lead to an eventual death of Ugandan music which untill recently seemed on its way to greatness.

This year we all agree Jose Chameleone has not been at his best and Musicians like Semakula have been good but they play totaly different types of music, Forexample Jass music is very good and too much accepted in the United States but Not at any one time has RnB been put in the same category as Jass.

We need help in Ugandan music and Musicians like Bobi wine, Jose Chameleone and Bebe Cool remain the biggest the country has to offer and Eagles Production and its' Kadongo Kamu' Musicians remain the music of Local Baganda other than cutting across the country.

I will pen off with pain that the best musicians in Uganda have once again not been recogonised by the "Academy" of non serious Organisers who are cutting the very hand feeding them. Its a pitty its happening that way.
